本校で２年間勤務されたALTのミユカさんが任期を終え、鴻巣北中学校を去ることになりました。そこで、ささやかなミユカさんのお別れ会を行いました。ミユカさんのお別れのメッセージは英語で行われました。「５０％くらい分かった人？」のミユカさんの問いかけに手を挙げた生徒が数名❓❓❓でしたが、その後、日本語でもお話してくださいました。

とても温かい雰囲気でミユカさんのお別れ会を行うことができました。ミユカさんのメッセージを掲載します。

 The 2 years that I spent at Konosu Kita Junior High School was wonderful. It was all thanks to you. You always made me laugh and it made me happy to watch all of you grow in many ways. You sometimes do silly things, but that’s what makes you all so cute and lovable. When I first started as an ALT, I was very worried if I would be able to do a good job. I had never taught anyone before. I was learning together with all of you. You taught me to be patient and understanding. I know English is difficult, and I am thankful to everyone for trying their best. I’m sure that if you keep trying, it will help you someday. I believe that everyone of you will grow up to be reliable young adults. All the best for the future. I will be cheering for all of you, and I will never forget my time spent here.
